The objectives are:

Simple eBay style marketplace for shibes to buy and sell products
a) Admin Backoffice to manage main pages and marketplace categories
b) A multi-shibe UI Backoffice to manage listings with simple fields
c) Wen adding a listing, to activate shibe must send 1 Doge to the generated Address valid for 1 month.
d) Frontend displaying all listings from all Shibes with the option to Pay in Doge directly to the shibe.

There's no specific end product in mind, we'll decide based on the skill level of the group. And even if we fail to beat the deadline, we'll still have a good time learning!

Prerequisites to join:
- If you want to take part in the hardware side, you need an Arduino programmable WiFi module (so we can connect to the dogecoin network). Such as ESP32 or ESP8266. You can get these cheap on Amazon, AliExpress and many other places that sell hobby electronics.
- For the hardware side, you'll likely need some basic components such as resistors, breadboards, and LEDs. But it's not required, you can work on the code side of things too!
- No prior knowledge of coding or circuitry is required, I'll teach you as we go.

We are community members that are creating a fun name service on top of a Cosmos SDK chain exclusively created and dedicated to on-chain name services. We secured the *doge extension and plan to open it to the community so people can use a memorable name (for example sexy*doge), instead of the typical long string in addresses like D69WAGMI420LOL... improving the user experience and helping with normies adoption.

This will be achieved by allowing any app to do an on-chain query for the given name*doge and the chain will resolve the Doge address through an easy web2 HTTP query to it.

Our goal in this Dogeathon is to create the part of the app that will allow community members to query names*doge to know if it is available, then request it to be reserved, receive the Doge address and link it to the name. We also plan to have new, fun and absurd ways for people to acquire names, like pay for names with memes, engagement activity on social networks and any other activities that further the Doge presence on all social networks. Besides this, we will also add a way for people to pay with native $DOGE if they want to get additional names and some other names we will reserve as premium to help finance the future development of the project while at the same time adding another demand driver for $DOGE (we don't see the point in creating a token just for this, ala ENS, we already got $DOGE ;).

There are no independent java-dogecoin libraries today.

Everything i have managed to find is one fork derived from another cryptocurrency wrapper, and - non-java implementations of Dogecoin protocol; In the same time, Java is a one of the most popular server-side languages of world class grade level, 15 millions or ~35% developers are using it over the globe. The vast majority of big and small enterprise are using Java language for their server side back-office.

The purpose of this library is open comprehensive implementation of Dogecoin JSON-RPC protocol in Java.

The library will reduce the entry threshold for engineers to start develop for Dogecoin and to make entrepreneurs easier decisions about integrating their business operations with Dogecoin block-chain.

During this hackathon I would like to define the structure of a DOGE themed community site for dogecoin developers. The goal is to have a platform to help one another out. I intent to use open source software to power the front-end and depending on the maturity of the GigaWallet APIs potential integrate a payment wall or gateway to manage subscriptions.

We are creating wDoge, a bridge from Dogecoin to Ethereum blockchains. For the Hackathon we will build a World cup betting dapp. It will let people use their wDoge to bet for national teams to win the world cup in Qatar.
